Top Five Popular Dishes at GyuButa Shabu

For our a la carte menu, there are five categories from what you can choose: Pork, Beef, Chicken, Fish and Shrimp. Each category can be cooked in at least two different styles.

If you are interested in eating pork, we prepare in three ways: Katsu Don, Tonkatsu and Katsu Curry. If you are in the mood for beef, we offer Niku Teriyaki Don, Niku Curry and Niku Tonkutsu. Chicken lovers can choose between Chicken Teriyaki Don, Tori Katsu Don, Tori Katsu Curry, Karaage Don and Tori Tonkatsu. If you want fish, you can have Unagi Bowl, Salmon Teriyaki Don and Saba Don Buri. Our shrimp dishes include Tempura Don and Ebi Furai Don.

Number 5: Tempura Don 


Shrimps are dipped in the batter, then deep-fried in hot oil. It comes with Tempura sauce even though it tastes great on its own.



Number 4: Katsu Don 



This dish is served as a bowl of rice topped with a combination of deep-fried pork cutlet, egg, onion and condiments. The sauce helps the dish go down easier. It's good with Miso Soup.



Number 3: Tonkatsu Set



This dish consists of deep-fried breaded pork cutlets sliced into bite-sized pieces. It is served with shredded cabbage, Miso Soup, Seaweed Salad and a special appetizer that changes each month.



Number 2: Niku Teriyaki Don



For those looking for hearty meal, this is for you. The dish is prepared with rice on a bottom smothered with simmering beef and onion in Teriyaki sauce. It's also served with Miso Soup in order to wash down the big chunk of beef



Number 1: Salmon Teriyaki Don Set


For a taste of the sea, order a piece of salmon grilled to perfection with mouth watering Teriyaki sauce. Each bite will leave you satisfied with its crispy exterior and moist interior. It also comes with Seaweed Salad, special appetizer that changes each month and Miso Soup to provide a true feast!!!!
